The Simulator Centre operates two simulators, the ALSIM AL200 MCC and the ALSIM AL200 DA42. They are used for instrument flight training as well as for the Multi Crew Cooperation Course (MCC). Training is conducted by experienced instructors who simulate different flight conditions and introduce the cadets to instrument flying before commencement of flying training on twin engine aircraft.
ALSIM 200 MCC
ALSIM 200 MCC is a sophisticated Synthetic Flight Training Device with full visual simulation. It accurately simulates the handling characteristics of multiple aircraft from single engine pistons to multi engine jets. This simulator is a valuable asset for training normal and emergency procedures. It also has the necessary features for the conduct of Multi Crew Cooperation Training.
DIAMOND DA 42
The Diamond DA 42 TwinStar simulator is a state-of-the-art ight training device (FTD), fully representative of the DA 42 aircraft. It provides maximum fidelity and a seamless transfer from simulator to aircraft training. The DA 42 FTD allows the cadet pilot to become familiar with aircraft systems.
